    wonky spa tub

The antique charm with unique windows and a welcoming atmosphere made our stay delightful. The spa tub was a fun improvisation despite not holding water.

    pet-friendly lodge
    maintenance issues

The location was perfect for our family getaway, right

next to everything we wanted to do. The lodge is pet-friendly and makes you feel welcome, but the room had a few maintenance issues. Vince was always ready to help, which made our stay much more pleasant.

    room convenience

The Upper Pass Lodge had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I appreciated the charming rustic decor, and the staff made my stay feel especially comfortable with their attentive service and thoughtful recommendations for nearby attractions.

A refrigerator in the room would be helpful.

    spa features
    cozy vibe
    ski access
    outdated decor
    steep stairs

The rooms have a cozy vibe with unique spa features, offering a nice touch for relaxation after a long day of activities. Additionally, the lodge's location provides easy access to several nearby ski areas, making it a prime spot for winter sports enthusiasts.

The property could definitely use some updates—think outdated decor and old tube TVs that belong in a museum. Getting upstairs is a workout since there’s no elevator, and the steep stairs can be a hassle for those with luggage. Plus, sound travels easily through the walls, and if you’re near the kitchen, expect a bit of noise during mealtimes. Having a refrigerator and microwave would also enhance the stay, as heating up leftovers is often a must after a day of exploring.

    pet-friendly lounge

    welcoming atmosphere
    cleanliness issues

great amenities but missing attention to detail

The lodge is incredibly pet-friendly, especially in the lounge and bar areas. Our puppy accompanied us during dinner without any issues. The bar served local spirits that added to our experience.

However, the cleanliness of our room left a bit to be desired.

    cozy atmosphere
    local drinks
    great wings
    difficult stairs

We loved exploring the national park and trying out water sports facilities nearby. The place feels cozy and welcoming, and the bar serves great local drinks. Be sure to try the chicken wings! Just a heads-up, the stairs can be a bit tricky with luggage.

Had a little difficulty with the stairs to our room while carrying our bags.
